I called to get quotes on rent and availability. I got the rental rates and was told that there was a vacancy, and in a couple of weeks it would be clean and ready to show. Great! I forgot to ask a couple of questions, so my husband called back. Keep in mind that this was not even 15 minutes later. He was given different rental rates (higher) and was told that nothing was available for a few months. He thought maybe he'd called the wrong place because we'd called so many that day and had been apartment hunting for weeks. So, I called back. The same woman quoted me the same rental rates (the same ones she'd given me before) but told me that there were no vacancies and that I should call back closer to the end of the month. Okay, maybe she's just stupid, it could happen. Why would someone bother to lie about something as simple as what's vacant and when and how much the rent will run. So, the next day I called again and asked the same basic questions. I got a slightly different version of the rent/availability again, and she offered to have me come fill out an application. Then my husband called and once again, she quoted higher rent and told him that nothing was available. I could NOT believe it! That is **SO** illegal! I googled Ceebraid which is the management corporation who owns this property and told them what their leasing agent had just pulled on us. Unfortunately, as badly as I wanted to rent there, my husband was so offended that he refused to rent from them. I was hoping that they would fire that leasing agent and maybe he would agree to moving there but no luck, that sexist moron is still there. I hope that they at least told her to get her act together. What a bunch of crap.
Now that we're apartment hunting again (moving to be closer to my husband's terrific new job) I found this website. I know that Regency has gone condo and it's a moot point but it felt good to vent a little bit.

Ceebraid sold the property in December. The new company has not rented apartments since it has owned it, you must have called the wrong Regency Place. For the record, the name has been Coral Gardens for months. CONDO ONLY NO RENTALS

Hey, idiot HAPPENTOKNOW - in the review it says that it's gone condo. Learn to read. No correction necessary. It says, "I know that Regency has gone condo and it's a moot point but it felt good to vent a little bit." F-king moron.
