I'm a current resident who has lived here for four years.. The staff is awesome and it is safe as I've not seen any criminal activity here at all. However, be very choosy when picking an apartment. Ask who lives in the other apartments and how noisy they are. I currently live in a one bedroom apartment with five individuals living in the one bedroom apartment above me. They walk so loudly and drop heavy objects at all hours of the day and night and have absolutely no consideration for anyone but themselves. I have spoken with them several times and they calim they are doing nothing. And then it gets worse. I spoke with them ten minutes ago as the thundering on my celing was knocking pictures off of my wall. They threatened me and told me to "f" off. Now as I write this the noise is horrendous. I'm moving out of here. These are the typical foregin students that this place has far too many of. I'm constantly picking up garbage and broken glass in the parking lot on sunday morning, they spit gum on the breezeway, through lit cigarette butts and let them roll onto my welcome mat. If you rent here don't rent any apartment with male foreign students living in the building, you will regret it. In the buildings where there are none of these inconsiderate individuals you will find non of these problems. The situation I'm in with this has caused me a great deal of stress and I've not had a decent nights sleep since they moved in. And now after this latest incident I have to watch my back. The office can do little and the cops won't even respond. So, if you plan on moving here be very sure you avoid the buildings with these type of indivduals. Hell of a way to treat a senior citizen and decorated veteran...

I'm sorry to hear this. Even though I have not lived there I wanted to let others and yourself know that I had a simular experiance but with out the confrentation. A while back I had 4 women from India living directly above me and then a few months later with a guy with his family (he) was kicked out of the Navy (I wonder why?) This family wasn't nearly as nice as the 4 women that lived above me. All of them kept me up at all hours of the night to include on the weekdays. :-( Part of the problem was the construction of the apartment (wooden floors). Unfortunatly I have learned the hard way that what you discribed can happen to anyone. (I was thinking I was the only one this happened to until I read your post) This is why I won't live on a bottom floor or with someone above me unless I can help it. Also I was having problems being woken up by my next door neighbor who lives on the same level. :-( On a good note that has stopped and I'm now being able to get a decent night's sleep. By the way thanks for serving! I just recently retired from the AF. I hope things are going better for you. No one deserves to be treated this way by others.

Whts sad here is the staff is awesome and there is little they can do. It's alos very unfair that foreignors can get in easier, they do no credit or background checks on them. All the coporation cares about is keeping the apartments full and getting as much of your money as possible with the least amount of service. Its a business so be sure to negotiate a rate and amentities the next time you sign a lease. Your served too and thanks for that. I retired in 93. I'm old enough for the 55 plus park and moved there. Its awesome. Good luck with your retirement. Hope you find work. Good time to open a small business, two new niches, headlight restoration and waterless car washing.
