The reason I am writing this review is because I want everyone to be aware of some things before renting at Saratoga.

I am just about to finish my year lease with saratoga. I am a student at Florida Tech which is why I decided to go with Saratoga. I am going to break Saratoga down with a pro's and con's list first, then explain the negatives in more detail.

Pro's
- Very close to school
- Quiet
- Plenty of parking

Con's
- Older apartments, some have very bad insulation
- Older AC units
- Older appliances
- Poor repair jobs done

Now about the negatives. First off, the biggest thing about FL is keeping cool. My air conditioner has been messed up since the first day I moved in here. The first electrical bill I recieved was for 300 dollars. I was shocked, but when I payed attention I realized my AC unit never stopped running. So I turn it up to 80 degrees. Same thing. So being that the AC unit was on 24/7 it was causing an enormous elec bill which sucks. So I call to get it fixed. They come out and say that "it is on and running so everything is ok". No it isn't, there were times when it would be set to 80 and the temperature would INCREASE!!!!!! This drove me insane! So I called again, this time they replace something. Ok it works somewhat for about a month and then it happens again. So they come out again and refill the coolant. Another bandaid. 10 months later and I am sitting here writing this in a room that is 86 degrees and the ac is ON! BEWARE THESE PLACES HAVE POOR AC UNITS AND POOR INSULATION!!

Next, other things around the place have needed to be fixed but never were.

If you can put up with it for a year, this place isn't bad. Some places in saratoga are not bad at all, but some are awful like mine. Just a warning, make sure you do not get stuck with a lemon.

Interesting. I've been here a year and a half. My AC will not go under 80 on a hot day (lots of hots days here as you know). I was also told that everything was ok. I doubt I will be renewing my lease a second time (not just because of this).
