We moved in, three couples, because it was pretty much the only game around that had a three bedroom after the hurricanes and we needed to move out of our old apartment within the week. The managment was nice enough, but they were lazy to call us back about our approval on the place. It was being redone, do we didn't get the keys for a while. THe place was nice, but like i said, they had to replace the carpet from the old neighbors apparently, abd there's obvioud wood rot in the window cill in one bedroom. Since we saw another vanent apartment and not ours, we didn't know. Everyone can hear you - and if you live upstairs as we do prepare to get noise complaints when you don't make noise. But there children can run screaming in packs up and down the stairs, alerting the whole building of theier presence at 7am. The parking isn't to bad, we have a lot of people so it's understandable we might not all get to park where we want. Our backwoods neighbors harass me and the other two female roomates whenever we get out of out cars, or even go outside. There are children EVERYWHERE, with no adult supervision in sight. They're rude, and sit on the speed bump preventing you from getting to your apartment. They all play in the streets, literally dozens at a time, and the managment could care less about how loud they are - but WE get noise complaints, for what' we don't party, we're college students so yeah, we come home late but this is supposed to be our home and if i feel like watching tv until dawn my downstairs neighbors shouldn't have to complain about it because the walls are so thin. You shouldn't have to worry your talking to loud at night when there's a FINAL WARNING on your door to "control the noise". We pay to rent a washer and dryer - the washer has two settings; small and extra large, and the dryer sometimes takes three runs to dry a full load of laundry. Also, don't expect a hot relaxing shower/bath after you've come home from a long day of work, the water will stay hot for about 3 minutes, and warm for another two if you're lucky. Like everyone else says, the maintanance men are good for putting around in thier golf carts and giving you looks, but not for much else. Our electric bills are always wrong, we think the water heater is bugged, but hell if they'll do anything about it. The floor plans are chopped up into lots of useless space, you could get a house for what you pay to live in a three bedroom here. I can't wait to move.
