It's been nearly 13 years since I had the keys for my apartment. I only had them for a weekend having received them late on a Friday evening and then turning them back in promptly on Monday morning. The apartment was a total disaster. I wrote three pages of problems with the place which was falling apart. In addition, over that weekend I fumigated because it was infested with silverfish.

There was a notice in the apartment/rental office that if a tenant moved out within a month of moving in, that they could not only break their lease agreement, but also that they would get their deposit back. Well, I had to go to the property's regional supervisor to get my deposit back because the woman running the local office asserted that I hadn't ever moved in.

Please note that my memory of the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and the monthly rent might be off a bit.

I'm sorry not to be rude but, Does your review even matter now?! It's been 13 years since you lived here and I'm pretty sure the management has changed since you lived here. Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience, and no one should live with bugs of any kind, but to hash out 13 years later seems kind of misplaced don't you think! I've lived here for a year and my apartment wasn't 100% move in ready, but everything that i put on my fix it list was taken care of, maybe not as quickly as i would have like but it WAS done! I'm not saying life here is all smiles, I do see lots of parking wars for at least 5 of the 14 buildings, and we seem to have a bat problems, but I do feel that the management is trying to fix this as quickly as (Mid America the current management company) will let them.
