Not a great place to live.

The Via Tuscany apartments were a great disappointment. The grounds and facilities looked nice, but beware...looks are deceiving. The swimming pool, tennis courts, BBQ areas, gym, and sauna were often not available when I wanted to use them, and the resident activities were usually cancelled. The maintenance crew was ineffectual and left huge, filthy messes wherever they worked. The front office staff acted like (us) renters were the scum of the earth; always complaining and breaking everything. In addition, they were all a bunch of pathological liars. If you enjoy being lied to and being made to feel bad for expecting value for your rental dollars, then you will enjoy Via Tuscany. Otherwise, in the words of one of their assistant managers: "Go move into your own house!"

Although this website can be of use to the consumer looking for an apartment, unfortunately there can be disgruntled EX residents that wish to utilize it in a manner to slander and defame decent, hard working people who happen to have impeccable customer service standards. And they do this usually because they did not get their way in a situation when they were living here. So in retaliation they anonymously post untrue statements and write illegal slander to get some sort of satisfaction. One certainly would hope that they would get enough satisfation for the condition they left the carpet when they moved out.

I can't believe that this rater lived in the same complex as I do. I have lived here 5 years and plan on staying a lot longer. Some people create their own problems.

You're a horrible person, you sound like a bitter and low class tenant and I'm glad you moved out! How can you slander those people like that?? They have been nothing but professional and welcoming to us and have gone above and beyond customer service! Via Tuscany is the best place to live in this town, I'm sure you couldn't afford it and that's why you moved. They should not allow cranky people like you to use this website if all you are doing is for defamation of character!

I just read this review and have posted my own, dated November 14th. I can't understand how this person could say the things they said. The staff is nice to everyone... not just my family; I've seen that firsthand. Furthermore, the pool and sauna, tennis courts and jacuzzi are available at all times of the day and night. I even used the cabana bar for a birthday party. The only resident activity that I know of being canceled was a SunCruz Casino Cruise booking and that was because there was not enough people interested in signing up for the bus. Otherwise, everything is FREE.

While I dont totally agree with this persons experience, I had a a lot of problems with this aparmtent complex and their management. Yes, they are nice but that does not make up for almost everything malfunctioning within the first few motnhs of living there, not installing an air filter or leting us know we had to (we never had central air before and I was not aware we needed to install them which I would have done) or not cleaning (place was filthy) or fully installing everything (no bathroom or bedroom doors, toilet seats, etc...) upon our move-in day. The lag time on fixing anything was 3 to 7 days and anything concerning insects (7-time problem involving ants, spiders, and roaches) was about a week or more. Couple these problems with having two sick kids who visited the ER 4 times due to respitory ailments that disappeared once a air filter was finally installed and you can conclude a bad experience for me.
