Looked great, but was a complete disaster that landed me and my two kids to the ER with respatory problems.
We viewed the apartments once before deciding to rent. The looked great, we instantly fell in love with it. We had high expectation.
Everything went to hell form the minute we moved in. The first problem we encountered was a malfunction garage. The next problems are numerous so I made a list:
- insect problems
- broken dishwahser (also missing one shelf)
- toilets half-installed
- closet doors missing
- borken doors in bathroom
- Odd raunchy smell eminating from sink
- unstable and non-working stove
- missing shelves in refrigarator
- non-responsive management
- Filthy kitchen, bathrooms, and main bedroom
- Malfunction A/C including an uninstalled filter we were unaware off due to the fact we never used central air before and were not informed was not installed
Beyond the unit problems we encoutnered many problems with the managment staff and grounds. In fact, to appease our problems after months of daily problems they gave us a $25.00 card to walmart, as if that makes up for everything not being fixed in a timely manor.
The worst part is my two kids went the ER on 4 different occasions, I went once, relating to respitory illnesses we could not initally find a cause for. Suspecting it was the air filtration system-we knew nothing about- we requested someone come take a look at. 3 days after our request somebody came and told us it was all set.
A month later the whole unit froze and we asked for it to be repaired and that is when they figured out it was the lack of filter, they neither told us about nor installed when we moved in. After about a week of having a filter my kids stopped having symptoms. The managements complete lack of action and incapability forced us to move out before our lease.
We are now renting from a much better landlord. They did recently send us a $7,000.00 bill for 1/2 months rent we were not there though we gave the appropraite notice in writing of our leaving. Included in that bill was $5,000.00 fee with no explanation as to what it's for.
I will simply finish by saying AVOID this apartment complex. It was my worst renting experience ever (rented 4 other apartments leaving everyone on good terms and satisfied we landlords).

I was a tenant of this property also, and had many similar problems. I hope your children don't experience further problems, and I can definitely sympathize. It's a shame that these slumlords can stay in business.

Ladies in the office are the worst ever. No compassion, no knowledge, and no action. Better to go somewhere else. This place has gone to the dumps.
