They lure you in with all kinds of fancy amenities I.E. Gated Secure Community, yet when someone breaks into your car or someone knocks on your door selling crap and you complain you are told that the guards are no trained security guards and cannot enforce people tail gating residence on to the property.

The walls are paper thin, I can actually hear my neighbor snoring at night.

The pool had a layer of black scum around it just about the entire summer last year, I know of at least a dozen residence that complained about this yet nothing happened. I finally stopped taking my children to the pool.

Good luck with the laundry room, I used it 3 times and found that the only way to know if the machines worked is to spend your money and hope that the washer or dyer work, by working I mean actually turn on. If it does turn on you may get on that only fills half way with water or a dryer that does not heat up.


In closing the place looks nice on the outside but that is about it. And there are telephone jack in the bathrooms. What is up with that' They also offer free Internet access, good luck getting a connection the WIFI is terrible at a best, and you would be better off using a telephone modem.

I have read the comments posted on this site about the complex and there is no doubt in my mind that the positive comments are from the staff, I lived there for a little over a year and most of the people I encountered were very dissatisfied with at least one aspect of the community.

So how long have you worked for Via Tuscany? Surely with the conviction in your response you must monitor these comments often as in someone that works for Via Tuscany. When they post a huge sign out front stating the gate is guarded you bet I expect a certain level of security. My point with the snoring neighbor is that the place is poorly constructed, paper thin walls = cheap or better explained a dump. Free WIFI was something that was used as a selling point for me, it was not at the office it was stated that is was in my apartment again yet another example of false and misleading tactics (you) Via Tuscany uses. This was simply an example of the bull they feed people. I am glad you like living there, I am sure you enjoy your job there even more.

My name is Margaret Velez, and I work at Via Tuscany Apartments, as the Activities Director and Leasing Specialist. I encourage you to contact me directly with the issues you are very obviously upset about. Our 24 hour guarded and gated entrance does restrict nearly all solicitors and tailgaters. Our security team also exercises foot patrols thoughout the evening hours. If our residents are aware of tailgating and or solicitors, they are encouraged to tell us immediately. Since last year, Via Tuscany Apartments has restructured our Maintenance Team, and cosmetic issues with the pool are nonexistent. It is a shame to hear that your children have not been back to the pool. My goal is make sure that you can enjoy all that Via Tuscany has to offer. Our activities calendar has something for everyone to enjoy, and I personally welcome you to meet with me. As for the WiFi, yes we do have that available in the common areas, like the business center, pool, and cabana bar. The coin operated laundry center is managed by an outside vendor and the recent problems our residents have experienced with the machines have been unacceptable and if you lost money in the machines we will contact the company for you to retrieve it. I sincerely hope that you contact me immediately.

I am currently a resident at Via Tuscany and it is hard to believe that you are speaking of the same place. The things that your are saying are rediculous. Dont you think its a little unfair to expect the gaurds to stop EVERYONE from tailgating. They are gaurds not police officers. Black scum around the pool a year ago? Really? It seems as though you are reaching into the bottom of the barrell to find negative things to say about the property. If you heard your nieghbor snoring it obviously wasnt intentional. HE WAS SLEEP!! I missed what your problem was with there bieng a phone jack in the bathroom. Whats your point? Your also complaining that the FREE wifi at the office was slow. Im sure it was faster than the internet connection you had at your apt. OH you probably didnt have internet in your apartment which is why you were using the FREE internet at the office!

I am a former resident at Via Tuscany. I moved because I bought a home. My circumstances have changed and I am looking to move back into an apartment. I was browsing different communities ratings and Via Tuscany has one of the highest ratings in the area. I lived at Via Tuscany for 3 years. During my stay I did have some issues but they were all resolved in a timely fashion. Like with any apartment things break, there are sometimes noise issues. As long as those issues are handly properly by management its unfair to judge the property harshly as you have. It sounds to me like you just had a bad experience, but that doesnt make Via Tuscany a dump. I think thats a bit of an overstatement. You seem pretty upset to have just had a problem with slow internet and tailgaters. I will definetly be going back to Via Tuscany this week to see what they have to offer. I enjoyed the 3 years there previously and cant wait to get back to the maintenance free living.
