I'm a college student and have lived here for around 8 months now. I love my current apartment - one of the rare two-bedroom rooms that used to be two separate singles. As a result, my bedroom is huge, and it's the same price as any other 2 bed/2 bath.

The tenants reflect the area - mixed. I've never had any problems or seen anything suspicious, but I wouldn't want to walk around at night alone either.

The management is VERY friendly. They are also very helpful and accommodating. My only complaint is they tried to save money by only shampooing a carpet of a room that used to contain several pets, when they should have instead replaced the carpet altogether.

Rent is decent. The lakes are beautiful; unlike the other reviews, I would recommend living on the top of a 2-story to get a balcony. The pool is huge. Some of the complex could be better maintained.

The cable TV and internet was absolutely horrible, almost non-existent, until the local company got bought out by a slightly larger local company. They are currently in the process of replacing all the wiring, so it's getting better.

Overall, I would recommend Windover if it's the price range you're looking for.
