Nice to be on the river, but a poor value...

Years at this apartment: 1995 - 1997
When I first moved in, the grounds were well maintained and it was nice to live on the river. However, during my first year, the complex was sold to a new company, and new management took over. The new management raised the rent and switched to a cut-rate landscaper. The construction was also extremely poor. I could easily hear radios, televisions, and alarm clocks in all the surrounding apartments. The windows also constantly leaked. If it wasn't for living on the river, I would have only stayed one year.
