well, it has been 8 months since the construction which was supposed to be completed in February has started. last nite i walked around and counted only 62 out of 192 units occupied. they built a beautiful "clubhouse" which they probably spent around 10g furnishing. Unfortunately it is not a clubhouse that is useable by the residents. the condo association will probably go bankrupt in the next six months as they have spent thousands of dollars doing things (i.e., painting, landscaping) and then ripping it out and doing it over. If it werent for the wonderful staff in the rental office, Judy, Debbie, Chris, et. al., it would be a horror to live here. at least there is no wait to do laundry as no one lives here. A beautiful one bedroom river view has been vacant now for a year... there used to be a wait to get in here. Kind of lonely not having any neighbors, each month you see moving trucks moving people out not in. It is still a nice place to live, location is great but its sad that it will go under and who knows what will happen then. Renting here is still a viable option but anyone thinking of buying here should think again... 2 bed 2 bath 300,000' you can buy a real condo or one helluva house for that price.
