This was my first apartment and by the reviews, I got out of there just in time to dodge this Mora woman. Alright:

Staff: When I lived there they pretty much ignored your problems when you lived in an apartment that was not owned by them. They gave me a mailbox key that did not work and it took me TWO WEEKS to get one that did. My air conditioning went out one Thursday in the middle of July and I called the front office, a man came and started working on the unit but 15 minutes later, knocked on my door and said that he got a call from the front office telling him not to touch anything because it was not their responsibility. I was renting from a man named Timothy Washington, but I communicated only with his wife Gwen who has to be the sweetest woman ever, and they lived out in California. I called Gwen, told her my problem, and she had a guy at my apartment that following Monday.

Parking: HORRIBLEEE!!!! Not enough parking spaces at all! Plus there was this moron that pretty much lived in my building that owned a huge truck and would take up two parking spaces. I told the front office, nothing was done, so I called the police to see if they could do anything about it. All I know is that after the police officer came to my apartment and spoke to me, I didnt see the truck there too often.

Grounds: BEAUTIFUL! It was the reason why I moved in. I was lucky and got the river view at no extra charge. Waking up and drinking my coffee in the morning in my "Florida Room" (all it lacked was air conditioning) was amazing and for some of the year I was lucky enough to be able to sit out there and watch the sun set. Also, wonderflu place to watch the Cocoa Village Fireworks. Pool was beautiful was well. I loved it. The gate didnt work the majority of the time but we didnt have a lot of traffic come through.

Apartment: I was in a 2/1 and it was SO big! No ceiling fans in any of the rooms, I definitely needed to buy some though. The apartment was not at all well insulated so the master bedroom which had 3 windows stayed retardedly hot in the day and mildly hot at night. Then my electric bill would be well over 200 dollars (I lived there by myself). The sliding glass shower door legitmately fell on me one night when I was in the shower, came off its tracks easily. But Just sprayed some WD40 and it was good to go. Bathroom was itty bitty but I didnt need a large one. Roaches were sort of bad, especially when it rained a lot. But what do you expect when you live RIGHT on the river. The Indian River never smelled really so dont let that scare you off. I loveddddd my apartment and I miss it dearly. I paid too much for it though, really. 980 a month, it wasnt worth that much. They guy above me was SO noisey and I think he stomped around his apartment on purpose just to piss me off.

All and all I loved it there and I would rent from the Washingtons anytime. When I cancelled my lease early because I was starting a semester early at UCF, they didnt charge me anything like my lease stated I was supposed to. They just didnt give me back ym deposit which was of course understandable. I miss Sunset Bay dearly.
