Both my roomate and I have witnessed the building maintenance crew sleeping in the unused apartment rooms in our building. They run an extention cord from an outlet in the hall to provide light for their living comfort. One night, after coming home from dinner with a friend, we both smelled what seemed to be burning rubber coming from the room with an extention cord running from the door. However, I did not see smoke coming from underneath the door. Worried, and knowing the door was already propped open by the cord, I opened the door. What I saw was unbelievable. The ENTIRE maintenance staff sitting on buckets smoking a crack pipe. I walked quickly back to my room. After notifying the police, they advised me to report the incident to the buidling manager, which I did.

I would not reccomend this building due to its current state of disrepair and mismanagement.
