There are only guards at 1550 every other night, and the doors are routinely propped open due to elevator breakdowns. I went back to visit an old friend, and she said she found a spy camera in the air vent in her bedroom. I think she called the police, I hope they are investigating. The owner of the building has complete control of the building - he even entered my room when they were doing renovations - WITHOUT A WARNING, PHONE CALL, NADA!

Please, don't consider this place if you are a SINGLE FEMALE. There was also a controversy when I first started renting there 2 years ago where the owner actually invited himself into a female tenant's apartment to welcome her home from work, and she was so scared she ran out of her room and called the police. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH

Everyone that I have run into at this place speaks english just fine. Much better than you I must say (demonize people - nice, moron!). These are a bunch of lies and this website should really take some accountability for the BS that gets published on here. I don't know if management knows about this but I will be letting them know so that they can discuss suing the pants off of these people for defamation and slander. Then they can go after you lying dirt bags.

It is crazy the lengths that you people will go to ruin this place. That is truly pathetic to lie so profusely about this place. If you were unhappy and moved good for you. But it is a great place to be.

I think management would rather not dabble in people's opinions of the 1550 dumpsite. THEY KNOW THAT THEY ARE MISERY PROFITEERS. "Anonymous" - Demonize people because they didn't like the place? Or because they got ripped off? Nice. Who do you think you are to minimize other people's toils and miseries experienced at 1550? The place is a friggin' 3rd world operation, complete with stray cats, dirty premises, "no speakie English staff," low standards, rude people, etc. I like how MANAGEMENT uploaded stock photos of the place. Sure, they may have put some new paint on the place but it's still the same 3rd world Hispanic immigrant run/low standards haven it always was.

I think it's funny how the above commenter "Anonymous" thinks that any negative review about his building is slanderous or libelous. Keep on whining, the truth is that 1550 Brickell is a horrible value and has crappy amenities compared to most buildings on Brickell.
