I rented a 1br/1ba @ 1550 for 1 year. At first, it seemed okay. Then a whole series of issues transformed my experience from one of tranquility to one of frustration, disbelief, and a lack of sleep!

-elevators worked only part of the time, whenever they wanted to
-stray cats in the lobby
-exterior doors are always propped open/stuck/jammed
-stair wells often stink of urine
-walls are very thin for "luxury" apts.
-you can hear your neighbors flush their toilets
-security guard cannot speak English
-maintenance cannot speak English
-"Workout room" is a joke!!!

Office staff makes life miserable. As another reviewer pointed out, they really are -------!!! :-) The ----- of the buildings, ------------, is also a miserable, stuck up prick.

Phew.. Thanks all for your posts.. Overwhelming "NO" saved me from renting at 1550.. Think I'll stay away from all of buildings owned and managed by The G____.
