Fair place to live but beware From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/27/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   Apartments are of good size and have an excellent view, if facing west. However, parking situation for guests is completely unacceptable, as valets are allowed to restrict parking at will and there are no public parking around for at least a mile. Everyone is compelled to try to slip $10 to secure something if they arrive for a visit, which is completely absurd. Dowstairs restaurant IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, and has been known to throw one-off parties which disturb the peace until late in the evening. Last but not least, existing construction project is affecting all balconies and creating a mega disruption, which renders some apartments "not liveable" especially during day-time. Not a place to rent at least for the next year, as construction is expected to last 18 months! After that period (late 2006), the balance would be a fair one for this location, which does accept larger dogs. For dog lovers, that's a real plus, but don't be surprised if existing management appears hostile to dog owners. Regards,
