Whoever wrote the review giving this disaster a 5.0 was either the apartment manager or someone affiliated with Airport Villas OR whoever posted the review was deaf and blind with no sense of smell or touch either. I'll cut right to the chase. Airport Villas is a dump, plain and simple. The noise from the airport is deafening, the internet worked... sporadically, the channels on the Satalite wre picked by someone who is totally not in touch with reality, unless you are into the news or discovery channel.

They could write a song about this place and call it BUGS BUGS BUGS, sung to the tune of GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS. I am not saying there's a lot of bugs, however if there was ever a nuclear war, it would be safe to say there's enough bugs in the place to restock the rest of the planet.

The rents on these so called furnished apartments were astronomical I paid 1600.00 for a 2 bedroom apartment they claim was 700 sq ft, I can assure you it was barely 600.00 My wife and I couldn't both be in the bathroom or the kitchen at the same time. There as one set of towels, we had to go buy more. There was 2 plates and 2 cups, we had to go buy more. The toasted didn't work, when we complained, they bought us another 10.00 toasted (I know this because I saw the same one at Target while I ws buying the dishes and towels) and it didn't work.

The furniture in this disaster was pure garbage. Literally looked like it was ripped out of some hotel that went out of business 10 years ago or more.

I am still waiting on my deposit refund 4 months removed from leaving there. They claim I got it, I got back 199.00 out of 1200.00 Some crap about administrative fees 350.00, furniture depreciation another 250.00 (stuff as I said was from the year 1 how much more could it depreciate and how even knows what else. The girl in the front office although nice, but usually seemed flustered at the lack of help she received from the maintenence staff. Speaking of whom, I know this is Miami, but wouldn't it be a good idea to have someone on the maintenence staff that spoke english, it's a stupid assumption to make that all your tenants will speak spanish. The manager was generally running from one disaster to another, dealing with these buildings that are falling down and the poorly conceived construction projects that were taking away parking spaces.

Bottom line is this, they say the best thing you can do is say you would buy another one of a product or in this case stay there again. I wouldn't, in fact We stayed there for 2 months, we would have been better off and more comfortable at Motel 6 even if it was a few dollars more at least it would have been clean and quiet.

Don't stay here...... Ever!!!!!!

This is so funny. This is exactly what I wanted to write over a year ago. In fact, I did write one, but I don't remember what I said! Anyway, this poster is exactly right. The noise is deafening. Don't let anyone fool you. It is located right next to the airport employee's parking lot. If you want to be that close, go ahead. I hope you are dear. The internet never worked. I desperately needed it for my job. The manager was sporadically available to take care of it. His excuses were always lame. The internet availability wasn't once a week, it could happen several times a day, so never count on it. There is no whirlpool, at least while I was there. I had the same problem with my return deposit. Luckily, I knew an attorney who wrote several letters to them. Soon enough, I got MOST of my money back, but what they claim are "administrative expenses"? Laughable. The furniture, as stated above, was so crappy that the Salvation Army, Goodwill would reject it. The linens don't match and are scary looking to boot. The kitchen drawers were lined with aluminum foil? And I found several bugs crawling in the coffee maker! I was actually scared of this place. If you value your health and your sanity, you will stay far away from this place. God, I so regret giving them a single penny. It deserves to be grated into a parking lot.

Hi This is the management of Airport Villas they have a place for you on the Moon as this is where you need to go. You are probally right and that is why the former manager was let go. Airport Villas is probally one of the best and most convicent places to live. Why would you write a review well after 6 months to a year after you left. As we say in the real world get a life. Thanks

Cashmsam, if you are the manager and I say "if". Good public relation skills, blasting someone for posting an opinion. That is why this is here. I was thinking about your place, until I read some of these reviews. Those coupled with your boneheaded remark have made me think twice. I can see why people are complaining. I also must say it must be the company line to say "most convicent places to live". I lived in Miami for 15 years. I know exacly where Airport Villas is, and I can say this people. It is anything but convienient to get to. Yeah tons of airport traffic. Trust me when I tell you people it's impossible to get in there
