It is hard to tell if you will enjoy this place or not. On the plus side, the rent is acceptable. Its not cheap, and not expensive. Like the rest of Miami there is a high latino population here. Overall this place has worked out for me, although admittingly, its not my dream apartment. There does seem to be an infestation problem in the common areas such as building entrances, and hallways. The managment seems to be polite, if you give them the same courtesie. I always tend to think that you get what you pay for. I would recomment that you look at your apartment, before signing the lease. They do show you a fancy demo, with new appliances. But if you look at the room, before you sign, then you have nothing to compain about after you move in. There is new management, and they seem to be strict and demanding, but hey, they are just trying to clean up the place and make the conditions a little better. There is a drug/alcohol/weight rehabitation program that rents some apartments for their clients on the premises. I live on the same floor as many of them, and have not had any problems so far. I am in law enforcement and I know when someone is intoxicated, or high on a substance, and I have not seen one of the people, who are just trying to clean themselves up, under the influence. Kudos to them! In closing, I would just recommend looking before you sign. Everything is right there in front of you to see before you move in. So just as if you were buying it, Take Responsibility Yourself (TRY), and look at what you are getting into.
