I moved to Aventura harbour last October a willingly signed a 12 month lease, because the leasing office is so nice , and the water fall pool is so hypnotising. I thought this was going to be the best first apt there ever was.

I was wrong. I was dead wrong. The manager is so rude, she is impossible to deal with, the maintanenace staff are incompetent. I have called them so many times to fix the same problems over and over and they claim the have fixed them ,but they stop working the next day.

parking is HORRIBLE, i work until 11 pm and i have to drive aroud and around to get something i can fit into, because its either there is no parking or the ones that are available are so small that you cant even begin to think about getting in.

I have had several friends just walk up and knock on my door without being contacted from the security gaurds, and its just overall a really bad, horrible atmosphere.

I knew i wanted to move when i rushed to Orlando, driving up, leaving in the middle of the night to get to my mother who had a heart attack, and was unconsicous, I never even broght a change of clothes. I was really out of it for a couple of days, because i was determined not to leave her side till she woke up. by the time i realized it was the 4th and my rent was overdue. I called the office and was rudley told that its not their fault my mother had a heart attack and i was charged like 10% more and given a partial eviction notice. I had bnever before had a late payment. I was horrified.

I will be leaving as soon as my lease ends in December, but i have already started packing my stuff. Please dont move here, and there are always these transition people walking around, that are apaarently drug addicts, its shameful, I am scared to walk home at nights from the parking lot.
