I currently live at Aventura Harbor and it has been a complete nightmare from the beginning. A few months after I moved in, I noticed extremely high water bills. I contacted the Office Management who intially stated that they would fix the problem, but they actually did nothing. The just lied to me and told me that they had checked everything in the apartment and nothing was wrong. I later found out that they never went into the apartment. I eventually had to take matters into my own hands and contacted a friend, who is in this line of business. He informed me that the toilet was leaking. I then contacted Aventura Harbor's corporate office in Coral Gables to get someone to come into my apartment to confirmed that the tollet was leaking. The Office Management denied that they knew about the problem to the corporate office. Can you imagine' The nerves of them. After this incident I was labeled as "agry woman" by the office manager.

To add insult to injury,I was promised a new dishwasher by the Office Manangement since April 2006, today is January 2007 and I have not receive it as yet. The Property Manager lied to me since April 2006. Each time I called the office to inquire about the dishwasher she stated that it was on it's way. A couple weeks ago she informed me that I will receive one only if I renew my lease. Again I was labeled as an "angry woman" because the dishwasher in my apartment is in deplorable conditions.

The Office staff is extremely unprofessional and rude. I cannot imagine how people can get away with providing medicore services and charge the enormous rent that they do. I honestly believe that the staff does not comprehend that they are running a business and that they need to provide quality services. This complex need some type of regulations from somewhere. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone.
