i have lived at banyan bay a year and 4 months. the old management sucked and barely spoke english, but the new management is very nice and all speak english. the neighborhood is slowly getting alot nicer and things seem to be running alot smoother now. not all buildings have great views, but you get what you pay for. the neighborhood outside is pretty ghetto, but within the gates i feel pretty safe. i love my apartment and i love the price i pay for it, it's not expensive at all compared to the rest of miami. it isn't a bad place to live if you're on a budget... i have seen far worse in miami. parking gets full late at night, but i have never had a problem except one time when i got home at 2am. the building i live in is extremely quiet since it is not by the pool.

the neighborhood within the gates is pretty neat. the walkway down to the pool is absolutely beautiful with all of the banyan trees.
