They will nickel and dime you to death From: jamesmorales@gmail.com Date posted: 7/8/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   They're struggling since it's an older building and their rents are equal to or higher than the newer buildings going up around it. High vacancy rates and poor renewal rates is causing them financial trouble. This leads them to nickel and dime you to death for everything. Have a pet' 400 pet fee non refundable plus an additional 40/month pet rent. Oh yeah, that covers nothing if your pet pees on the rug. The fixtures are old(no wood cabinets or stainless steel appliances or granite) and depending on what side you live on, you may be stuck with their horrible cable service. You gotta pay for water which is crazy considering how much the rent is. The views are great if you face south. BE VERY CAREFUL THAT YOU DOCUMENT THE MOVE IN AND MOVE OUT CONDITIONS WITH VIDEOS AND PICTURES. They will try to bang you for the smallest items, they got me for $20 for a drip pan that you can buy in the store for $1. They'll deduct any claim from your deposit even before knowing if you dispute it and they won't honor any dispute even with proof. I'm currently suing them in small claims to regain a portion of my security deposit. They ruined what was otherwise a decent experience with the nickel and diming and I wouldn't consider living there again.
