I have to agree with the comment before me. I am i awe of how badly this building is and has been maintained. To say the least, you're lucky if you have a remodeled unit and luckier still if the unit above you isn't going through the remodeling process (and the noise that comes with it) that may last 2-3 months!!!
Now, the problems...oh, too many to mention. Now, what they're doing about it...I've been here a year, and recently I started to see a lot of work done. Now, I haven't seen a thing. Another new manager (at least 3 in the past year) and I don't see anything changing.
Ok, I don't want to go into detail about the negative issue. Here's the UPSIDE...affordability, location, view (depending on unit). My rent has been $1000-1100 for a one bedroom with a fantastic view. Obviously, this is not a "high-end" building, but dollar-for-dollar, you get more. Just don't expect luxery.
If they got a competent board association and management this could be a great building!
