Living at the Grand Flamingo is like meeting the most beautiful person that you ever met in your life and falling in love...then discovering that this aesthetically pleasing being is a seriously deranged lunatic who spent fourteen years in a maximum security prison for all sorts of crimes against humanity. First of all, the management runs on a propoganda theory that would make any government jealous. They lie, switch, tell you what you want to hear, and then do whatever they please and charge you double for it. The walls are thin, the air either doesn't work at all or morphs into an unlivable tundra, the fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night on a regular basis, and it is loud. The water has been shut off without informing the tenants, and all of the free amenities that they promise come at a cost. Oh yeah, and the buildings are supposedly having structural damages which have left people outside the windows on scaffolding of which you can hear everyword of their conversations while trying to eat, sleep, work or relax. The Grand Flamingo is undeniably beautiful. The location is wonderful, and the pool is amazing except when the management holds society events there and does not let the tenants attend. It is everything else that is the problem.
