Before reading this review, read all the previous complaint?s from present tenant?s below. Do yourself and your friends a favor and look to live somewhere else. Don?t make our mistakes! That?s what this website is all about! The Grand Flamingo, ( which is it?s name, althought management keeps changing it), has represented nothing but untruths to it?s tenants. All the complaints in the previous letter?s are 100% true and to tell you the truth are really not as harsh as they could or should be. Construction has gone way past the completion times set forth, not to mention that there are serious settling problems arising daily due to the new tower and affecting all three buildings!! There is daily noise from sun up to sun down due to ongoing construction, so if you need to sleep during the day , forget about it. Don?t bother renting an apartment with a balcony facing anywhere near the construction because you will rarely be able to use it due to the constant dirt and debris being blow around on a daily basis. You will have to wash down your balcony in order to enjoy it. A few of the long list of negatives of this building include: PARKING is a pain in the neck, and their has been much damage to resident?s car?s. NOISE between apartment?s is a joke. You can hear a pin drop between the wall?s. RENT?S are way to high presently while all the construction is still going on. The present resident?s are not being compensated fairly to have to put up with the daily problem?s ,( broken a/c unit?s, no hot water, shutting down of power, etc. etc!!!). EXERCISE room that is presently in the building is a joke. There are machines that stay broken for week?s at a time. The ratio of equipment and size of space to the amount of resident?s is ridiculous. The new gym facility has been promised for month?s but keep?s getting pushed back. Even when it does open it will not come to resident?s for free. You will have to now pay for it!!! Something that no other building does. SALESPEOPLE in the leasing office are one of a kind! They will tell you anything to get you to rent an apartment. Watch out for them!!!!! MANAGEMENT is another joke in this place. It"s like the blind leading the blind. Not at all helpfull or compassionate toward?s resident?s complaint?s. Hope this review make?s people think twice about renting at The Flamingo!! I wish I had known about these concerns before coming!!!
