Be Careful--Know what you're getting into!!!

The worst problem is the parking garage, where they redrew the lines to fit as many cars as humanly possible (or inhumanly, I should say). It is a confusing, overcrowded mess, ridden with dead ends and a maze-like system. The lanes are super narrow, and for some reason, the residents drive 40 MPH around the corners and into the other lane, nearing head-on collisions all the time. If you have parking here, get your brakes checked before you move in because you'll be slamming them on several times a day.

The management is decentralized, so if you have a question or problem, you never know where to go. You could end up calling 5 different numbers before someone *might* be able to help. The entrance pass system is inefficient for residents. You can't put the pass on your keys because then you can't get into parking without taking the key out of the ignition, so you have to remember your pass separately, everywhere you go. I don't like carrying a wallet everywhere, but now I try to, or I'll forget my pass. Just a minor annoyance.

The high-efficiency washer-dryer combo in the units seems great at first, but it takes several hours to do a load of laundry. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning that you'll probably be spending $$ to do laundry down the hall.

The walls are very thin and I've been spending many a sleepless weeknight due to the screaming baby upstairs and the techno music blaring next door.

Moving in here is hell. They tell you that you've got an elevator reserved, but it's only reserved in theory. Others can use it, and believe me, they will. If you have a decent amount of stuff, hire movers, don't do it yourself. I cannot stress this enough.

Living here is very similar to living in a college dormitory. Be prepared.

The pools and athletic center are nice. Our apartment is clean, large, and well maintained.

I can't wait to move out.
