Don't disagree with what a lot of folks say on here, especially regarding parking, extra fees for gym that they don't tell you about, and the dorm-like atmosphere. That being said, I'm staying because I know from a very good source that the building is in fact going condo. How do I know' The person who informed me of this works for the company that is buying the property. It will be announced shortly - they are just completing the due diligence process.
Once it goes condo, that should create a better clientele of people. There are some good people here, but there are also a lot of spoiled little kids, especially northeasterners and midwesterners whose daddies buy them bmw's and send them to "The U" for a second-rate party-filled education (unless there are in law or med school).

No, the building is not going condo. Also, while bashing UM you forgot how to properly write English you dillhole, "unless there are in law or med school)?" I lived there for 8 yrs, its not going condo any time soon. However, feel free to pay your rent in hope of one day. Then tell us how it is in 8 years. |

UM isn't a second-rate school. It's a THIRD-rate school full of losers who couldn't make it into a real school! |
