OK, the good things are these. I've NEVER seen a cockroach, something that residents of Mirador and Southgate see quite often if you believe the reviews.
The lady that sells breakfast goods at the north tower is very sweet. The jacuzzies are nice, so is the infinity pool, the bay views, and being able to actually walk to Lincoln Road without breaking a sweat is great. And because I live in a studio and the AC is free, my electric bill is only $20 a month.
But then there are negatives. Parking is expensive, $150, and overcrowded. They want to jack my $1069 rent to $1229, with parking it's gonna be almost $1500. I'm sorry, but no studio is worth so much. It's not like they have a jacuzzy bathtub or a balcony, and we're talking of only 580 square foot here.
The gym is also $50 a month, not that I care. The people are ok, no loud teenagers, plenty of young people, a few old people, and some excentrics that harm nobody. Whoever mentioned prostitution doesn't know what he's talking about. Unless you happen to call a prostitute, you won't find one in this building or in the nearby areas.
Girls are also topless in the Infiniti pool. So if you're some kind of pervert that likes to look, have fun.
I went to the Flamingo because I wanted an ego trip. I wanted to be at the most beautiful building, with amazing amenities, and a great location. And for a while, it's the perfect ego trip, you'll feel better and superior than anyone else. You'll look with pity at all the "losers" that live in old buildings.
But now, the ego trip has become very expensive, and not worth what I'm paying. So I got me a realtor. Turns out that for $1250 I can get much better deals from private rich people that want to rent their homes. Deals that include full utilities, maybe jacuzzy bathtubs, free parking spaces, and being closer to the beach.
However, if you want to be in a building full of the so-called "beautiful people," this might be the place for you.
But not for me. I seek luxury and at The Flamingo it will cost you plenty.

You should stop renting and buy your own place, you loser.
