this place is the worst apartment complex i have ever encountered. all they want is your money. i have rented places in chicago and have never had so much trouble with greed. they will charge you for anything. parking is extra $150 a month. chicago wasn't even that much. they took $900 from our sec dep to clean the apt! what's worse, we had it professional cleaned and used their cleaning services!! so why take $900 when they already cleaned it by professionals that we already paid'' money hungry. what is the worst part about this place, the apartment itself. they rent a $2000 apt that is worth $400. the kitchen has all cheap appliances, the washer/dryer take FOREVER to clean, the workmanship is ever so poor. when they say it's "updated", they mean paint job and carpet clean, that's it. yet they keep raising the rent and adding nothing new to the place. the staff is afraid to tell you why they charge things and avoid your calls. called to speak with management office, and they always transfered me to a voicemail. funny how the staff member i spoke to actually said "this is management office, can i help you'". once i stated the problem, i was transfered. no call backs, had to go in there in person to settle the problem. sec is a joke, they have power trips. sometimes they won't even let the paying tenants park for 10 min to unload anything. even when they are showed an id, they still say no. let's not forget the deafening fire alarms that go off for no reason about twice a week. unless you have money to piss away, stay clear from this place. put your money to something better than here. trust me, i wish i hadn't wasted all that rent for something that is worth nothing. overall, this place is garbage!! don't let the landscaping or pools fool you.
