I noticed a very strange thing going on here. Read through the reviews and you will see two kinds -

1. 90% TERRIBLE reviews
2. 10% Outstanding

Hmmmm. Let's read some extracts from these 5 star reviews, shall we'

"FLAMINGO SOUTH BEACH IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!!!
GREAT SERVICE!!!GREAT AMENITIES YOU FEEL YOU LIVING IN A HOTEL RESORT!!!
GREAT GYM!!!"

Sounds genuine, huh' Couldn't be written by a staff member! Also, for all of these I am not correcting the terrible grammar and spelling. Believe me, the (miserable) residents know how to speak English, even those of Hispanic descent such as myself.

Here are some more comments - from three anonymous reviews posted on the SAME DAY:

"The Leasing Office people are very attentive and very Professional when it cames to rent you the right apartment, also very friendly....."

"Its full of sophistication, elegance, and youth! Its definitely the best place to live in South Beach."

"I rate Flamingo South beach the best place in South Beach. This is the place to be."

"This is best place to live in South Beach Area, it goes with South Beach Style, So if you don't make the South Beach Style , you probably should move to North Dakota....."

Here's another one. Do you ever wonder how mgmt reacts to negative feedback from its customers' Well, wonder no more:

"All you guys do is complain, you guys are lucky to have a management team working as hard as they do here at the flamingo. You guys are so ungreatful, after a long day of dealing with construction problems our manager has to deal with snobby ass people like you all."

OK, well, there ARE a few advantages to living here. Take, for example, the Playboy pool parties:

"They just had a Playboy swimsuit fashion show here on the 4th of July and I was more impressed by the girls at the pool than the playmates. Guess they just don't need airbrushing down here!"

Stop any guy who ACTUALLY lives there and let them know how lucky they are to live in Bunny Central! Yes, they'll laugh, because this place is actually a hellhole, and those reviews were written by staff members.

Remember, I warned you...

I agree with this guy 100%. I used to live there for only a year and regreted it the first month I moved in. They kept almost my whole deposit with some BS excuses and I found out that they do that to almost everyone. Someone should start a class action law suit against morton towers (aka Flamingo). Include Sarah and friends in that suite. SCAM is a great word for this building and it's staff. I had my headlights stolen from inside the garage twice in 1 months and supposedly we have cameras and security (LOL). Staff got pissed at me cause I told the police I thought it was an inside job w/ security?

Nice detective work. =) I used to work there, during a temporary lapse of sanity. We were instructed to post those blantantly obvious messages per the request one of the misfit, moronic managers.
