They overcharge you for rent and then proceed to charge you $180 per month for a parking pass. No apartment includes parking. If you live here you have NO OPTION not to pay for their parking because they have some sort of shady deal with the City of Miami Beach so that if you live in the Flamingo, you ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO OBTAIN A RESIDENTIAL PARKING PASS which would allow you to park in residential parking zones for a very low cost. The City website specifically says that IF you live in the Flamingo, you may not obtain the pass.
Further, the management is horrible to the people who live there. My roommate and I had a misunderstanding with our rent after we resigned our lease and instead of trying to be helpful or even speak with us about it, a woman named Marisella proceeded to scream irrationally at my roommate, make her cry, and when I called back she did the exact same thing to me. She barely spoke proper English and she had no concept of the fact that I was paying a lot of money to live in this building (or simply that i am a human being) and deserved to be treated with some respect. When I asked to see the lease she was looking at, she refused to give it to me and made up some excuse that they didn't have the correct copy ready for me.
