Be careful when you move out of The Flamingo, make sure that you are present during the move out inspection because they unfairly charge you with cleaning fees and whatever they can think of. Even if you scrubbed clean the whole damn apartment, they will still find the nitty-gritty just to charge you. Would you believe that they charged us with the repainting fee for the whole apartment even if there were no noticeable markings on the walls' And the residents with kids who moved out, whose apartment walls were marked with crayons and pens, were never charged for the repainting of their place' It's ridiculous because they didn't see anything much that they could charge us so they resorted to charging us with the repainting which is almost 500 dollars. Want to contest the charges' You can, but in the court of law as per the maintenance supervisor. So good luck to those who are moving in and moving out of Flamingo.

I lived there and was very unhappy with just about everything but the pool. The doormen are rude (and thieves - don't leave anything lying around) and forget getting any help on anything from the management. Same story here, when we moved out, they whacked us for cleaning fees even though the place was cleaner than when I moved in. Nice looking building with a great young crowd living there but the management sucks and the buidling is going down hill quickly. Dirty, unrepaired problems, etc. Oh, and one final thing. God help you if you park your car out front and its not a Bentley or Mercedes or Ferrari. No normal cars allowed out there. They'll tow you in the blink of an eye "for fire marshall reasons" unless it's some uber car. Then the violations are no biggie.
