I lived here in 99-2000 and it WAS cheap. But, the laundry facilities were terrible as well as the cleanliness of the place. The parking is a nightmare and the people leave a lot to be desired i.e. noise, drunkiness,spitting in elevator, elevator. The Free A/C that they speak of is something that is a minus instead of a plus. THe air condiditoning is old and is "WATER COOLED" (old fashioned) and there is mold and mildew blowing into all of the apt. If you havent heard of Legionnaire's Disease.. please read up.. this is how it starts. The staff are extremely rude and never help. The security guards are all ex-cons and they havent changed their ways. When I moved there someone told me if you "TIP" them they will repair things in your apt and make your life easier, that made me feel like I was in jail. I did notice that the rules were for most people and some of them never had to worry about parking,repairs etc. They do at times "arbitrarily" turn off the A/C in the winter. Miami gets cold and then suddenly its warm. I've been uncomfortable before. At the time my Studio was $600 incl.A/C and Cable. Then they removed the cable and we had to pay. Then they raised the rent and then I got sick of all of the scumbags that were moving in and blasted.. the music at 5am and no one did anything about it. The Police wouldve taken and hour. It was a horrible experience. You do get what you pay for. If you have to move there make it temporary.
