The location is one of the best that you can get for the price. It is a $3.50 cab ride to the clubs on South Beach, within walking distance to Flamingo Park, which provides lots of recreational activities. Most importantly, it's a 7 minute drive to downtown if that's where you work. HOWEVER, there are many downsides. First, the parking situation is horrible. You pay for only an opportunity to park in the lot across the street, which always floods and gets muddied up when it rains. The security guards are more like ex-cons than security guards. When I first moved in, I felt like I was in a mafia movie. If you need something that you're entitled to or if you need something specially done, it can be done for a little $$ wink, wink... There are a lot of police officers that live in this building. It's strange though that the police officers are "IN" with the security guards. At leas that's the impression you get. The mildew is also a problem. Unless you really, really can't afford another place...this is a great place to live : )
