Worse place I've ever lived

My experience at Southgate was the worse in living conditions I have ever experienced.
The pipes and vents are extremely old. We had to go without a functioning bathroom for a little over a month (right when we moved in). There was all kinds of sewage and other crap (literally) coming out of the bathtub and toilet. They kept coming in to try and "fix it" and everytime they said it was fixed, we would have the same thing happen again. It overflowed one night and a former leasing agent, Sue, was gracious enough to let us stay for a night in an empty apartment. By the way, I heard she was fired and that was probably the most stupidest decision ever made. She was excellent at her job and had empeccable people skills.
The mold problem was pretty bad too. If the panel windows were changed to solid pane, it wouldn't be as bad. The washing machines were a joke. The elevators worked whenever they wanted to. I used to see the service guys "fixing" them every week and they would still break down.
The parking lot was also a mess. It was badly lit and entrance/exit gates was broken alot. Unfortunately, there's some people who drive like race car drivers in there. I don't get how people risk their lives and others just to get a good spot in the lot.
Many of the neighbors were so noisy and nothing was done about it. Complaining did nothing. In Jersey, no matter where I lived, a nuisance neighbor got two warnings. If they didn't stop, then eviction processes began. We had to deal with this problem at Southgate the whole nightmarish year we were there. Management did absolutely nothing.
Speaking of management, I would have sworn they never existed up until the day of our apartment walk-through when we moved out and we finally met someone from that office. Everytime we went to talk to them about a particular matter, they were never accessible to us or any tenant for that matter. Customer service 101, you are ALWAYS accessible to your client. We were always referred to a leasing agent. A leasing agent is not supposed to do management's work. I hope they're getting compensated for it.
If you want a quiet and clean community with a management staff that cares, don't live here. Yes, the views are beautiful, but it's not worth what you pay and it's certainly not worth your sanity. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
