Not what it seems!!

When I first moved in they neglected to tell me that this was not just condo rentals, which is of coarse what I assumed. About 30 rooms are rented out from ANOTHER company and some of those rooms are rented out like hotel rooms!! People are in and out of here all the time, and when you go to the pool, it seems that over half the people that are out there are the "short-term guests". What's frustrating about that is that they don't have the same respect for this place as the people that live here. They shut off the hot tub and let their kids swim in it! I was EXTREMELY upset when I found out that people were staying here for the weekend!! NO ONE told me this when I signed the lease, which I think is UNACCEPTABLE!! I had to find out from another renter who was as equally upset that they weren't told either. I feel like I was lied to. The amenities are great and I love my apartment. I've had LOTS of problems with my a/c this summer. There were MANY days, when it was dead of summer, that my a/c didn't work. You would get a note on your door saying that it wouldn't be working the next day, the office didn't do much to accomendate. Having to run your a/c every night to try to cool the apartment, when it was off all day, and is 90 degrees inside is EXTREMELY expensive. This went on for a few weeks! Also, having to endure the EXTREMELY loud alarm that goes off for seemly no reason and goes on for hours!! This happens at all hours of the day & night! The maintance crew is really nice, and the valet guys are great. If you know what you're getting into, and don't mind sharing your building that you pay a lot for with hotel guests, then it's a good place.
