If you don't mind the close by airport, then The Birchwoods is a great place! We have now lived her for 2 years, and we simply don't have a single complaint. The management is terrific and the staff is always nice and helpful. They have 24 hrs maintenance and always respond promptly. The apartment and the areas around it is always kept clean and neat. The walls, in comparison to other south florida apartments, very thick! We can't hear our neighbors! We just love it here. They also have a security guard that patrols the facilities after 10 pm.
