Rentals are very expensive for the run down area where the community is located, but the apartments are spacious and the complex is centrally located. The complex is currently being converted to condos and this process has become a pain for tenants. What's left of the rental community has only one person, the property manager, who works in the office. There is a receptionist, but she is often very slow and rude. The receptionists are also different every month or so because of turnover. The property manager is always busy with the condo conversion side of the house and it is pretty much impossible to see her in person for problems or questions. Also, there are is no full-time maintenance person on site since the conversion started. The copier, fax, and computers in the business center are always broke and it takes forever to get them fixed. There is construction going on everywhere in the buildings due to the conversion process. The construction is very loud and often shakes the walls and floors. In addition, workers start with this racket at approximately 7:30 in the morning. Such construction has been going on without even a notification from the community. Also, the office rarely if at all, notifies a tenant that they have received a FEDEX/UPS package. There is both covered and outdoor parking, but garages are very small and hard to maneuver in. Two bedroom units only get the use of one parking spot on the property. Additional parking spots are $75/month outside and $100/month in the garage. Overall, the place is not worth what they are asking for rent. I could not believe when I asked how much apartments were selling for in this place. A 1/1 was starting at $220,000 and that is probably on a lower floor facing another building.

You failed to mention that the people here don't speak English. I wish these monkeys will just get on the rafts they came on and paddle back to the craphole island they came from. |

wow, monkey? its hilarious how you sit behind your computer to hate on the latino people and their lack of ability to speak english. Miami is a melting pot, it's definitely a multi-cultural place and nowhere does it say that we should only speak english. sure, security isnt that great in the english speaking department... but yet if they wouldnt be working these jobs and sitting their asses at home listening to ingles sin barreras all day, you would be complaining and saying that they should work and stop being lazy... obviously ur too narrow minded... anyways, blue lagoon may not have the best management but it is not because of the managers fault, it is the lack of supply in employees. she has too much work and too little amount of employees.
