I lived in the Briarwood apartments for 2 years , the surrounding area in which the apartment is located is pretty good but it is located right by a busy highway US-1 so noise is a major issue . The apartments themselves are nothing special the appliances are old and the apartments themselves are old consequently the walls arent very protective towards sounds from your neighbors and maintanence is required to fix things often although nothing major usually . Dealing with management is a major problem they are very unreceptive to your requests they never send anyone to fix your problems immediately you really have to stay on top of them . They really give alot of attitude the only time they are nice is when they are taking your money . Bugs are an issue , they claim to have a bug guy in my two years only once after i threatened a lawsuit did a bug man finally come . Finally safetly is a concern if you do not live directly by leasing office , the Briarwood is poorly lit and has some unsavorey characters , car vandalism is a frequent occurence at the Briarwood although I havent heard of anyone breaking into anyones apartments . I suggest before signing their long 13 month lease look somewhere else because the Briarwood is nothing but problems
