Where do I begin' At first everything was great. Then you open your eyes. The staff never did much to shut my neighbor up. Her dog barked ALL night long and pooped all over the balcony. She played loud, bassious music from afternoon to midnight every single night. [Surprising, seeing how it was a one-bedroom with 2 or 3 adults and 2 kids living there...] Don?t live in Broadwater if you don?t want to live in a ghetto! Definitely not if you?re looking for some peace (esp. students & elderly) Always a bunch of gangster-looking teens walking and grouping, making noise. The sprinkler system was broken and big muddy puddles formed. Even if you were neat about it you could NOT fix your own car there. The parking was terrible. I have many dings in the sides of my car from the ignorant people & bad parking there. Location was nice. First year, 1bd/1bth, $799...For the next year they said $900--HA! But I said I was leaving and they made it $815. Go right to the manager for that! Nice Roman bathtub, but the shower was very cold and weak, and the kitchen sink was boiling hot! ..I?d probably get a better shower if I sat in the kitchen sink... Oven was very old and didn?t work like a normal oven. Windows and walls are like paper, shook whenever a louder car went by. And my electric bill was RIDICULOUS! With the blinds open, people stared at you from the other complex. And YES, you can hear everything going on in your neighbors apartments, whether you want to or not! Carpet: stained, ugly, and crunchy. Cracks in the front door; the man who washed the steps/doors, shot bleach-water inside EVERY time, all over me once. And to get the new carpeting you were promised for staying an extra year-forget it!! PS, silverfish, lizards, and ants in a clean apartment are disgusting!!
