I agree with the previous post. My roommate's ex roommate was the initial leasee so we still get some great deal in terms of rent ($1405/month), but now they decided to up to $1634, which is supposed to be lower than market value but 17 % up from previous contract is outrageous.
1) Most of the time only 1 elevator is working
2) As previous post, not enough parking for residents during hurricane (I had to park on the street when I came back at 6PM last Thursday)
3) Water pipe burst only 100 dollar reduction in rent (come on $100 off for those who live in $900 studio compared to someone paying over 2K's for 2BR 2BA'')
4) Entrance on South side was broken for about 3 month in Fall '04 w/o security while people just propped the door open 24/7
5) Fob on entrance and gym was broken for over 3 months in Fall '04 as well
6) Ridiculous extra parking fee ($150)
7) Constantly changing cable companies (2X in 10 months)--> No more ESPN news
8) Garage door constantly broken or left open
9) Baja Fresh is great but the other restaurant next to the garage entrance constantly blocks the entrance b/c of their valet service during dinner time
10) North Side street (10th Street) constantly floods even when there's 1/2 inch of rain
11) Ridiculous application fee ($450 per person)
12) Construction across the stree is annoying, constantly blocks the 1-way S. Miami ave
13) Brickell bubble will burst soon. This place does not worth $2160/month for 2BR 2BA
