I relocated to South FL from the Washington DC metro area with much skepticism after hearing about the overwhelming negatives of Miami living, especially for single women! The Colonnade is a condominium consisting of two buildings,therefore rental from individual owners only via realtor. The complex is owned by Lennar and is about 60% occupied, therefore really quiet. My block is completely occupied, but still no noise issues from my neighbors. The Colonnade is surrounded by older apartment/condo buildings(may be a deterrent for buyers), and sits directly at the rear of Dadeland Mall,(Location, Location)!

This is a wonderful place to live. A little expensive, but worth every penny if you can afford it. There is no skimming on luxury in this building, parking is assinged, there is valet parking for guests; impeccable common areas,and most importantly - the security is tops. Screening by guards for ALL visitors before entry into resident areas, camera surveillance in garage, elevators, and common areas. The guards actually patrol the grounds, not just sit at the lobby desk! My safety has never felt compromised in this building or the neighborhood as a matter of fact. The condo board and security team are amazingly professional. I will renew my lease for the length of time my job keeps me here. Very happy resident!
