Cottage Cove(formely known as Miami Gardens Villa)is a true nightmare to live in. The first day I moved in I had a Roach problem. They claimed to have updated the apartment but the update consisted of vinyl wannabe wood floors terrible paint and old appliances.When my air conditioner broke I thought they were going to fix it but they just pulled it out of another unit.Then the walls are so paper thin that the water from the broken a/c started to leak into the walls with caused mildew problem and wet carpet which stunk up my house. when I complained it took them about 3 weeks to fix the problem but two months to get rid of the mold which they didnt they just spray painted over it.Then they were careless enough to leave my door open when checking their fire hazards.The tile in the bathroom was falling off,the kitchen cabinets had holes in them and was falling to the floor,the eyes on the stove did not work,its a hole in the ceiling that seems to be getting bigger when it rain,maintance is NOT 24 hrs as they claim and they want me to pay 845 to renew my lease with them including water which you never had to pay for,the parking is a nightmare because you have to rush home so your parking space dont get tooken and you have to end up parking behind someone whos visiting someone else.the so called wood floors are rising up and the flying roaches are a problem.and this was supposed to be an updated brand new facility ha! I wish someone would have warned me about this place BEFORE i moved in I am so glad that Im moveing out of this place and this is one place Ill never look back into again.
