Even the positive reviews on this site are scams.

If you are considering moving into Design Place, PLEASE take some time to read all of the reviews.

You'll see a steady periodic stream of consistently negative reviews from actual former residents, followed by a few weeks of amazingly positive, amazingly similarly worded reviews.

It's all BS.

Design Place management is a team of fortified liars.

They will band together to create a good impression of the place, showing you a model unit and acting like they are really involved with residents before you move in.

Hand over that deposit and prepare to be switched at the last minute to a different unit (one that's likely had mold, water, bug, or other problems).

Then let the real madness begin...

the thefts, the noise, the poor landscaping, the endlessly frustrating cycle of deliberately poor maintenance.

And don't fool yourself into thinking anyone cares how succinctly or loudly you voice complaints--even paper-trail documentation won't work when it comes to "proving" that you should have your needs attended to.

P.S.

Good luck recouping your security deposit; Design Place has a blatant policy of keeping them!

No bones about it: Design Place managers are slum lords.

You're not alone, my friend. I have been witnessing the same thing to my disappointment. I'm just angered that a site designed to promote user reviews and protect potential tenants from making a bad decision is not doing more to prevent this sort of thing. Some poor fool is going to get duped into renting at this place. I only wish they had more reviews of this place when I rented years ago...
