I never rented from these people but I gave them $475 to hold an apartment. After reading reviews here and also looking them up on the better business Beareau Website (you should do that too), I decided that it would not be a good decision to live there. It has been almost four weeks since I asked for my money back and their policy states it would be mailed to me within 72 hours. There leasing agent ERIC has thrown me around the loop and has only called me back once EVER and that was today! He said that he received my refund in Miami even though I had instructed on three seperate occaisions that I am currently residing in New York (the location of their corporate office) and I would like it sent there. I personally gave him my address on two of those occasions. I would have gladly picked up the check in New York too. Now he says I need to fax him a copy of my drivers license to get my money. Don't they have the color xerox I gave them with my application' Of course not because this company is a piece of ----! They can't get anything right! If they treat potential clients like this how do you think they will treat you once you contractually binded to [ay them rent' I'm guessing it would only go downhill from here. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC

There are always two sides to the story...These people wanted to lease one of our larger apartments. In order to quailfy to lease an apartment you have to meet the requirement standards the rental community has established which is usually the same in all communities. The income requirement is 3 times the rent amount per month in verifiable income (current paycheck stub, contract letter from employer). They didnt have verifiable income to prove the ability to pay for the rental and their credit history wasnt the best. I push the application did everything in my power and managed to quailfy them with first, last and security. This was the best I could do under the circumstance and they canceled their application because they thought the move in cost was too high and not because of the reasons they have given. It clearly states on the first page of the application that the refund will be returned within 5-7 business days.
