WORST Place Ever

This is the worst place I have ever lived in. The only thing they can tell me that they consider a maintenance emergency is if the apartment is on fire (don't you call 911 then--not maintenance'!). Your A/C going out and your washing machine flooding the floor are not considered maintenance emergencies to them-they told me this. 1 maintenance guy told me that the reason why he didn't answer his page from the answering service and call me back when I called to report my A/C was out after hours was because he was asleep and didn't hear his pager go off. And he told me that it wouldn't have mattered anyway because he wasn't coming out after hours to work on an A/C because that wasn't a maintenance emergency. The pools & hot tubs have duck feces & algae in them. 1 leasing agent's response to me when I told her this was (I swear), "Well, I don't know what to tell you." When I told a member of management about this there response to me was that she would suggest using the pool and hot tub on the days that they clean them and proceeded to tell me which 2 days of the week that was (I don't remember which 2 days she said). There is consistently duck feces all over the sidewalks. I had over a page long list of a maintenance "punch up list" when I moved in, I have given it to them twice and in the months I've been living there...none of it has been done. The last time I told the a member of management about this, her response was that she didn't know what to tell me. My apartment hadn't been cleaned when I moved in. Security used to be at the front gate from 6p.m. to 6a.m.. That has been changed to 6p.m. to Midnight. At Midnight when the security leaves, the gates are put up so anyone can come through, and the light is left on in the guardhouse so that when people come through they think there is someone still on duty but perhaps they are just checking around the property. The residents were never notified of the change in security hours. The Mgt. Co. hires them to stay there until Midnight, figurring that by that time most of the residents have come through and they won't realize that they no longer have security all night and thus won't complain. And so that the Mgt. Co. can advertise that they have security. How do I know this' Because I spoke to someone at the security company that told me this. The landscaping around the sidwalks and porches on the backside of the property aren't trimmed even near regularly. Recently some people got notices on their doors about cars being broken into but the notices weren't put on all residents doors, they were only put on some. One would think that the Mgt. Co. would leave a notice on everyone's door! But not these people, that would probably involve too much work for them. They recently updated the landscaping and had palm trees dug up and moved from one part of the front of the property to another part and had a water fountain put in. So they decrease security and then pay to have palm trees moved, seems to me that the priorities are not in the interest of the residents.
