I'm a current resident and I really don't think it's as bad as everyone here claims. The floorplans are large for the area and many of the interior walls are concrete (less noise). The prices are reasonable, if you want any cheaper move to Hialeah.

My serious issues are that there are WAY too many ducks in the area (duck poop heaven). Also, being that there isn't a designated pet area, most residents allow their dogs to defecate in the few grassy spots in the parking lot. If there are few rainshowers in the week, the smell and flies are disgusting. My last beef is with the so-called "gated community" claim they try to sell you with. The security guard is only there for 4 hours (6:30 to 10ish). Which of course is the PRIMETIME where burglars try to steal your car and/or break into your home. As if that weren't enough, they don't even check non-residents that drive up. I've had many friends tell me they just mention they're visiting someone and the guard just lets them through.

All in all, the Doral Pointe (now called Doral Greens) isn't all that bad for temporary living. With it's large floorplans, decent pricing and great location, it makes for an adequate place to live.

Ohhhh I totally forgot about parking. This is another MAJOR issue. There are few largish spots for SUV and large car parking. All other parking must have been designed for mopeds and bicycles in mind.
