Hello potential residents,
May I just state how small minded we must have been to pick Emrald Palms. My husband is in the Coast Guard and we moved down here from Illinois. We thought the idea of a "gated community" was quite nice being as how it was our first time to Miami and we did not know how the area was going to be. Boy how wrong were we, our first week here there were bars practically sawed off of the front gate and now they just keep it open all of the time. May I add that at both the gas station and the KFC and MCD right across the street neither of us have been there without having someone come up and beg us for money while looking in our car windows, now I ask, Why in the hell would you leave the front gate open'' Our apartment had several things broken, including the front and patio doors when we moved in and we have trouble getting them to fix it. People here are extremely rude and loud, there isn't a night that goes by that some idiot isn't sitting outside with his loud ass music playing at midnight. To be honest, I don't know if it is just Emerald Palms or any apartment complex for that matter, Miami Florida in its entirety makes me wonder. Future residents of not only this complex but Miami, I advise you reconsider your choice of location before you move down here.
