I visited the complex and was impressed by the pool, model apartment I was shown, the fitness center and the lobby/leasing office. I paid $200 ($100 app. feee and $100 to hold an apartment for me). I was plainly told that the $100 deposit would be applied to my first months rent. A few days later, after several unreturned calls I reached the "lady" I had submitted my application to and quickly learned the staff there are nothing but liars and cheats. The deposit they demanded was FAR more than I was told it would be and that the $100 deposit was only to hold the apartment and would not be applied to the rent. I became very suspicious of the place and it was then that I found this Web site and all these negative reviews and now I'm not going to rent there and feel like I have really dodged a bullet, even though it cost me $200 for nothing. From now on I'll check out apartmentratings.com first! Thanks to all of you who told the truth abouth this dump and the crooks who run it!!!

Good one. We're checking this site out as well. It is quite informative. Check out our review of Palmetto Place - it should be the most recent one.
