To new individuals looking to rent an apartment in Miami, especially those who want to stay close to FIU, please do not live in Fontainebleau Milton. First thing is they have a stupid renting policy. Second their leasing office staff are real stupid people, except a couple of ladies there who can smile. They are so rude, especially the assistant manager, Ms. Dally Blasco. She got no courtesy or sympathy towards customers and is very rude any time I approach her.
I moved in when halfway thru the lease and replaced a girl who wanted to move out of the apartment. when I renewed the lease, I requested the maintenance to clean my carpet. They apparently hire "Steam-It" to clean apartment carpets and they demanded that I say in the apartment while the company arrives. Now, they didnt give me a specific time when they ll be arriving and they wanted me to be at home the whole day, ON A WEDNESDAY. I did stay back and none showed up. Now I go back and ask them what happened, they say that the carpet cleaners missed me. now if I want to reschedule the service, they give me a date 4 months later. what the heck'! this just an example...
I have faced many many such instances of poor quality of services from these people. I got so frustrated that I wanted to break the lease and get out of here, and they say if I break the lease, I will forfeit my deposit (which is fine with me) and will be reported to the credit bureau. I am stuck here right now :(
